Tonight I made up a batch of the organic fertilizer formulated by Steve Solomon in his book on gardening in Western Oregon and Washington. The title is Growing Vegetables West of the Cascades by Steve Solomon. I recommend the book.
The fertilizer is formulated specially for the soil conditions and the climate West of the Cascades. Up until now I’ve only made small batches for my own use.
